   From May 25th to 27th, 2023, Guangzhou Bio-key Technology was invited to participate in the Guangdong Hospital Association Hospital Research Laboratory Construction and Management Professional Committee meeting held in Zhuhai. The opening ceremony of the meeting was presided over by Han Xiaoyan, Director of the Experimental Medicine Department of the Third Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat sen University. Ke Changwen, a first level researcher at the Guangdong Provincial Center for Disease Control and Prevention, Xie Jingxin, Vice Chairman of the Biosafety Committee of the Chinese Microbiology Society at the Jiangsu Provincial Center for Disease Control and Prevention, and Huang Jianyu, a distinguished professor at Tsinghua University, attended the meeting.

 

 

Professor Wu Bingyi, Chairman of the Construction and Management Professional Committee of the Hospital Research Laboratory of Guangdong Hospital Association and the Medical Experimental Center of Southern Hospital of Southern Medical University, proposed at the meeting that:

"At present, the construction and management level of research laboratories in hospitals in Guangdong Province has ranked among the top in China and has become a model unit for hospital research laboratory construction. Whether it is laboratory construction, management, or personnel training and formation, it has many advanced concepts and experiences, attracting multiple domestic universities and hospital teams to visit and learn."

 

And it also explained the expansion of the functions of the research public platform - the current status of clinical precision medicine services, and jointly explored the development opportunities of hospital research laboratories in the new era, as well as the current development status of domestic and foreign research laboratories, thinking about the future disciplinary development direction of research laboratories.

 

 

 

The staff of Guangzhou Bio-key Technology fully demonstrated their industry and professionalism during the conference, and had in-depth exchanges with experts and scholars attending the conference on the current situation and solutions of hazardous chemical management commonly found in scientific research public platforms. Actively promote the standardized construction, talent cultivation, and technological innovation of domestic research laboratories.
